Founded in 1973 by a mother and her gay son, PFLAG was born from a powerful story of family, love, and unity. What began as a personal journey has grown into a national movement, with hundreds of chapters and over 325,000 members and supporters working together to create an equitable and inclusive world for LGBTQ+ people.
